Mobile Notary - Estate Planning

Getting Started. 

We look forward to working with you and your client(s). Below is the step-by-step process for setting up a mobile notarization for estate planning documents. The procedures below are what works best for most clients, but we can always conform them to what works best for your firm. We strive to provide a concierge type services for all of your estate planning needs. Steps 1 to 6. 

  • Step 1: please send the below email to notary@mynotadoc.com and Cc your client(s) to assist with in coordinating the mobile notarization.


My client(s), insert client(s)' name, are in need of a mobile notary [and witnesses, if applicable] to finalize their estate planning documents. Please coordinate a signing ceremony with them directly.


  • Step 2: NotaDoc will respond to the email in Step 1 with the following email:


Hi Client(s)' Name,


We look forward to assisting you. To coordinate the estate planning ceremony and provide you with a quote, we need the following completed:


  1. Provide us your information by filling out this form: Click Here
  2. Please respond to this email and give your attorney authorization to provide us with a copy of your estate planning documents via email.

  • Step 3: Once we have the client(s)' estate planning documents, the client(s)' address, and the client(s)' telephone number, we will provide your client(s) with a quote for our mobile notary services via email. We typically send a quote within 1 to 3 business days. If you would like us to send the quote and invoice to your firm for payment, please let us know and we would be happy to do so.
  • Step 4: Once the client (or your firm) has approved the quote, we will assign the signing ceremony to one of our trusted notaries within another 3 to 5 business days and send a confirmation email to the client with the assigned notary's name. We will also send a calendar invite to all parties participating in the signing ceremony. We can include you on the calendar invite so you are aware of the appointment. Let us know if you would like to be included in the calendar invite.
  • Step 5: Next, we will send your client (or your firm) an invoice to pay online. The client(s) appointment is not fully confirmed until payment has been made. Payment needs to be made at least five (5) hours prior to the signing ceremony appointment.
  • Step 6: After the signing ceremony is completed, we will send you an email letting you know. If you want the executed estate planning documents scanned or mailed to your firm, we can discuss how we can assist in providing these options.

  • Sample Notarial Acts: in order for our trusted notaries to legally notarize your document(s), you must include the attached Jurat or Acknowledgment language in your document(s). If you are unable to add the Jurat or Acknowledgement language to your document(s), email us the document(s) and we will provide you with further instructions.
